New town, different restrictions?

Ive had my LTC for going on 20 years, all issued through the same town. I just recieved my re-newed license from the same police dept yesterday. My wife and I are having thoughts about moving, only two Towns away. The town I would be moving to on their application ( just giving it a look over for general info about their policies ) says that unless it is required for work ( accompanied by a letter from the employer stating such ) that only a hunting/target license would be issued. If and when the time comes could they put a restriction on my unrestricted license? ( zero criminal history, as of now I understand)

Guess I wouldnt move there.Unless you want to fight the system.

I wouldn't worry about it if you had your license for 20 years. If they do put a restriction on it contact a lawyer and fight it. Once you say you were getting a lawyer involved the other side usually backs down. The town wouldnt want to spend the money in court.

It wont stop me from moving there, I was just wondering if it was their right. If I meet all the States requirements, its my 2nd Amen. right, as well as a privilege. If the State of Massachusetts deems me qualified to carry concealed, shouldnt the police dept that is more or less my ”middle man” have to stand by the States decision, despite the Chiefs personal wants. Im licensed by the State of Massachusetts, not the town forwarding my application. Just wondering, I know I can fight and win.
