Gdlindy Gunz
Hello,
My name is Gary Lindenmier and I live in Arizona. I am new to this site.

A little bit about myself;

Currently I work as a Fire Inspector for a local fire department. I am a Firefighter, EMT & licensed inspector. I also do investigations.
I was for 8 years full-tme and 2 years as a reserve an Arizona Police Officer & Instructor.
I am a military reservist, 6 years active duty and a couple of recalls for OIF & OEF, I returned last October from a 2 year recall. I have 25 years of military expereince. I am an expereinced Rangemaster/RSO, NRA Law Enforcement Certified Instructor, Recently received my CCW & CCW Instructor cert. for AZ.
I am left handed, so I teach ambidextrious (that is why I became an instructor originally..no left handed instructors). I have expereince teaching handgun, (revolver and semi-auto pistol, single & double action) Rifle & Shotgun. I have been in charge of teams that do security force operations, MP duties and I am also trained in anti (counter) terrorism.
My last tour in Afghanistan, I was involved with insurgent capture, detainment and control/interviews. I also spent time as the Dept. Head of Operations for the Expeditionary Combat Skills Center located in Gulfport, Ms.

What I want to do; Train the average person to shoot and defend themselves from preditors. Help others to hone their shooting skills and eventually get involved with training bounty hunters or anyone that needs to know proper technics on; how to frisk, detain, cuff, aproach & control suspects. Also how to propelry create a plan and excute or make entry when pursuing a suspect. Do this with minimal risk to the teak, injury and lawsuit to the suspect and any innocent civilians.

I am not above working with or for someone else, but eventually, I want my own shop to do business. I am not about "me" when I train others, it is their dollar, their time, their expereince I am their for the student(s).
I am not Mr. commando, I just had great opportunities and expereinces that I can use to help others. I have taught thousands of military personnel, law enfocement and even the boy scouts on proper marksmanship technics.

I also can do firearm repair and I am doing refinishing, restoration work for old west reenactors. But I can build modern weapons as well. These are my hobbies, being a firefighter and preventing fires is my career.

So if anyone could use some help, let me know. I enjoy teaching, I've been doing it for a while now.

I can be reached at; [email protected]

Thanks for your time. HOORAH!

Updates fro the conservative wild west-Arizona

We have liberals rolling in their graves (or soon to be in their graves)
Last week the governor signed two gun bills; inshort one keeps cities, counties & towns from changing Az state laws concerning permitting & registering firearms. See, one county I know of, Mohave Co. was registering guns to owners, (we dont register a firearm in AZ) the closes that we do is the FFL seller keeps a record of the original purchase. Also when someone goes to buy a firearm, a check is run on the person, not the firearm or the quantity. One check could mean 5 purchases at the same time.

The second one/slam against the big government from pushing around states was also done in Montana;
Firearms that are completely made in AZ will have a stamp "Made in AZ". They will NOT require registration of mnaufacture to the feds. As long as the firearm remains in AZ, the feds have NO reson to know of it's existance.

Finally; the big one, right to carry law; (This does not remove CCW, this just allows a person to lawfully conceal a firearm in public: i.e. in your car or on the street.) Not in private businesses or govt buildings. CCW's are still required. This law is for the guy who puts on a coat and walks down the street.Currently, if the firearm, (not holster) is covered and the person in doing so does not have a CCW permit, then they are in violation of a felony. This law will fix that.

Constitutional Carry Passes Arizona House,
Awaits Governor's Signature

Today, Senate Bill 1108 passed the Arizona State House by a vote of 36 to 19 with five absent votes. The bill now moves to Governor Jan Brewer's (R) desk for her consideration. As of now, the effective date for this bill has yet to be determined.

Under Arizona law it is generally legal to carry a firearm openly as long as you are 18 years of age and not prohibited from possessing a firearm. However, if the firearm becomes covered, say with a coat, or if you are a woman and prefer to carry your firearm in your purse, you need to possess a concealed carry permit. The intent of this legislation is to give people the greatest possible freedom to choose the best method of carry for them. SB 1108 would generally allow law-abiding persons to carry a firearm for self-defense without a permit.

Arizona's constitution, Article 2, Section 26 clearly states that "The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself or the state shall not be impaired." The intention of this language could not be clearer.
