New Study: Since 2007, Concealed Carry Up 130%, Murders Down 22%

Philadelphia, PA (July 9, 2014) – The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), a research and education organization dedicated to conducting academic quality research on the relationship between gun ownership, crime, and public safety, today released a report, “Concealed Carry Permit Holders Across the United States” revealing that 11.1 million Americans hold concealed carry permits up from an estimated 4.6 million in 2007.

Three states (South Dakota, Indiana, and Alabama) now have over 10 percent of their adult populations with permits, and 10 states have at least 8 percent of their adult populations with permits.

Is this any surprise? Tell me I'm not the only one that sees the correlation between what's different about now and 2007.

Seems like I remember hearing the NRA had named Obama gun salesman of the year for the last 5 years in a row, and he's the predicted winner of the next 3 years to come.
 
Latest figures show Illinois has issued 62,258 permits.........more coming and in the pipe.

I have friends and family who are in the pipe now. If the shooting stats go down in Chicago that would be the anti's worst nightmare. But not to worry Rahm will take credit that his "policies" are why the stats went down. We will have to wait and see.
