Was looking into carrying concealed in PA but I live in New Jersey with a vacation home in PA. If i get a New Hampshire non resident permit would I be good in PA?

However, to remain legal, you must unload the firearm and lock it in a case or rack whenever you are within 1000 feet of any school premises.

You can get a PA non resident permit as easily as NH and avoid what Navy said above with the Gun Free School Zones Act compliance issue.

“Individuals who are 21 years of age or older and are NOT Pennsylvania residents may apply for a license by submitting a completed Application for a Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms to any Pennsylvania County Sheriff’s office along with the required fee. A Pennsylvania license cannot be issued to a resident of another state who does not possess a current license or permit or similar document to carry a firearm issued by their home state if a license is provided for by the laws of that state, as published annually in the Federal Register by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms of the Department of the Treasury”.

Why not just either move to PA, or establish residency there?

I lived in both states, and the difference is night and day. Is there

a great reason you don't just get out of NJ? I know you probably work

there.

Please consider signing our National Reciprocity petition. It is mainly for PA residents. Not only does it fax your congressman and 2 senators, but we then go meet with all 18 PA congressman and both senators to get their 'yes' commitments. If they refuse, we email all PA petition signers asking them to march on that lawmakers office.

Whatever you can do is appreciated. The petition requires a pone number. This is to tie the signature to a real person. Otherwise we get signatures from people using false identities.

Write a reciprocity bill based upon the 2nd Amendment and I will sign a petition for it. The current bills are based upon the "authority" of the Federal government to regulate Concealed Carry Permits/Licenses based upon the Interstate Commerce Clause and I will not support any bill that INCREASES the Federal government's "authority" to regulate carrying a firearm. The increased authority to regulate will be used by the current Republican controlled Congress and White House to enact National Reciprocity. That same increased authority will then be used by the Democrats when they regain control to attach restrictions and regulations to it and we will then all be under a permit system like California, Delaware, New Jersey and New York.

Absolutely not ! They did in the past. But now the background check goes through the state police. Not just a sheriff. You must have a ccw. From your home state. Period. Then They will issue. You live in Nj? Good luck
