New Gun Belt

I ordered a new gun belt from Old Faithful Holsters. They have a gun belt kit where you order a un-dyed plain gun belt for $39.95 it comes with buckle, retainer loop and hardware. You simply dye it what ever color you want and put on the buckle. It is two pieces of thick leather glued and sewn together for a very strong belt.
I purchased the Old Faithful holster kit which also saves you money because you screw it together yourself.
Figured since the holster was such good quality I would purchase the gun belt. I already have black leather dye.
Will post again when I have it dyed and put together.

Last week, I received an Old Faithful holster that had to be put together.

It did go together pretty easy. Secret is to watch the video CAREFULLY before you start. It will save you some aggravation.

Tried it on and I need to do some tweaking. I really want to carry my M&P full size and bought this holster to do it. May just tale some getting used to.

When I put my Old Faithful holster together I wore it for a week then made some adjustments and it is now one really comfortable holster, good retention and easy draw. They are quality.

You got it right Infuencer,

The beauty of Old Faithful Holster products is that they can be tweaked. I can't imagine forking over the price for a Crossbreed or comparable product and then have to cut the rivets to make adjustments for better fit. Don't get me wrong, Crossbreed is among the best out there, but I place Old Faithful Holsters at the top!

My SR40c calls it home, and we have one on order for my Wife's Beretta Nano.

Just a word to the wise, after you've gotten it broke in and where you want it, a drop of loctite will help, especially with the belt loops.

Received the belt a few days ago. Very well made belt, I got the double stitching for an extra $5. I just burnish the edges with an edge beveler, apply some dye prep then dye it and after it dries put on some Super Sheen to seal it. Then use a little leather conditioner. This belt will last a long, long time.

Seems odd to me that you are paying this much money for an unfinished product... I use a blackhawk cqc belt and love it, about the same price as listed above (cheaper) and it came to me as a finished product.

Not knocking folks for wanting to do a project, just seems for me that for $40 it would be a completed belt.

Not many completed belts for $40 not double thick gun belts. Most are $50 to $90 price range. I did not mind doing the finishing to my belt.
It looks very good and is a very good gun belt. I have now assembled my own Old Faithful Holster and finished my Old Faithful belt. I am
good to go.

The Blackhawk cqc belt is reinforced but is NOT a double layer belt and compared to the many double layer belts it comes in a distant 2nd. I had a student in the concealed carry class and after comparing it to a real gun belt he decided to purchase one.
