New girl from Vegas

Hi....from Sin City ....Las Vegas!!!!!! I'm new to guns. Never held/shot one before Dec.2014. But a divorce and my EX becoming very threatening and psycho was reason for my decision to learn to shoot and get my CCW. I only have 3 handguns at moment. My Ruger LC9S was my first carry gun. Then my son said I needed something "more" for home defense. So my Glock 23 is always on my night stand. Well then I fell in love with the Glock 43 and that has become my go to carry gun. If anyone had said to me even 3 years ago I would own handguns and have a CCW permit...I would have laughed at them. But things change and I refuse to be a victim.

I go to the range 2 to 4 times a month(it's a time thing in my case)....I'm proud to say I was taught and I religiously break down and clean all my guns after range time. I'm an example of being able to teach an old dog new tricks...lol...yep I'm 57

I know this reply is years late but if you're in Vegas I would recommend going to Front Sight which is a shooting school located in Pahrump, about an hour from Vegas.
