I like my above-referenced quote because I'm a terrible fisherman that never gets to go........
I live in Memphis, so my closest "good" fishing hole is about an hour away....little oxbow where the "crappy" crappie and tiny largemouths bite. Still fun to get out though.
My best fish was on a family sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands. I had a 4" trolling diver lobbed off the stern of the sailboat & would spend most of my sailing time back there hoping for a bite. One day, the pole just doubled over....20 minutes later, I had about a 7 lb. tuna. I wish mom could find the pictures.
