New AR build suggestions.

I want to build a new AR platform coyote gun/ long range target rifle in 5.56. I'd like a 24in free floating fluted bull barrel. I'd like input for the best manufacturers of uppers/lowers/barrels/free float hand guards etc. for this type of application. I was also thinking of going piston operated but I have never built a piston gun before. How much more difficult is it? Any help is appreciated.

I'm interested in learning this information as well. I admit that I'm not very knowledgeable about these types of weapons and my previous research has proved frustrating as a result.

I have gone the 5.56 route for yotes and I hunt ALLOT of yotes up here. I built a ar in .204 ruger a couple years ago and it is by far the best yote rifle I have ever owned.

First, find AR parts. Second, let me know where you found them. I need two lower parts kits and a whole bunch of stuff for a couple of builds. Now it seems that the market will be telling me what to build, unlike back in the good ol' days in 2012 when you could find anything you wanted and plenty of it.

The gun show I went to last week actually had a surprisingly good selection still. Lots of stripped lowers, Noveske uppers, a few compete rifles. And then there were the idiots walking around trying to get 3k for a stock rifle they probably bought 3 months ago.

Hey Maine I like the look of that rifle a lot. I love the magpul stocks. What kind of receivers/hand guards/barrel did you use?
