Can anyone tell me, is Nevada still recognizing Arizona permits?

Yes. See an updated Nevada CCW recognition info list at this link:

The note on the list says that it was updated on 10/13/2015.

Many CCW sites with map capability (e.g., this site, under "Concealed Carry Resources/CC Maps") will also indicate R/NR permit reciprocity/recognition, but I usually prefer to check with the source at the state itself, whenever possible.

Thank you, I was told recently by a firearms instructor that Nevada no longer recognized Arizona.

I would go with what the current Nevada CCW recognition list letter shows, not hearsay, but that's just me.

Arizona's CCW permit -- Res or NRes -- is a widely recognized/reciprocated and cost effective permit -- particularly the renewal.

Nevada seems to be "on top of this" in terms of reviews, updates and changes too. My state was dropped from Nevada's mid-June list, but was added back (MS "Enhanced" permit only) in late June 2015.

Yes this was good to hear for me also because my wife and I have time share and goes there sometimes, now when we go through CA I just have to legally store my firearm.

The three biggest sources of misinformation regarding firearms laws continue to prove themselves to be LEOs, gun store employees, and CCW instructors - in no particular order.

I would add that there are some on the internet also!! Some are low info know it all's and some to confuse the laws to others!

Nevada did honor Arizona permits a few years ago, but after awhile then decided against it. Now they're back to honoring it again. Next week, anyone's guess.
