I got pulled over by NHP yesterday while driving back from a desert shoot with my son.
Over the years I've had a couple of interactions with NHP and They have been professional every time. I have been cited before but yesterday I was lucky to get off with a warning. I made a questionable u-turn across a divided highway just outside of Vegas and the trooper made it clear that crossing a divided highway was not legal there.
My truck was loaded with a bunch of targets and a few guns. I'm pretty sure the trooper had no question that we were armed.
We usually hear about the bad encounters with police, but I just wanted to give a shout out to NHP for doing a great job and I appreciate their discretion.
