Need some of this once in a while

I went to watch my 12yo daughter cheer her first football game followed by the homecoming parade. When the vets bearing our colors came by only I and one older gentleman across the street from me saw fit to remove our hats. It makes me mad as hell to see grown adults laughing and talking as the flag passes unnoticed.

Damn Right! I spent six years stationed there. The stories I could tell. Good for him though.

It's sad how some people have no respect. This is kind of like when people talk while the National Anthem is playing at sporting events; that bugs the hell out of me.
