NEED INPUT: PRP XD-S spring/auto sear kit….

Love my XD-s 45, less than thrilled with the post-recall trigger. Heavy pull, stacks up some. Nice groups, but all low and to the left. Thinking about installing the powder river spring/auto sear kit, which they say will drop the pull weight down to about 4.5 - 5 lbs from the factory set 7-7.5 lbs.

Anyone have any experience with this kit?

I had a gunsmith install the powder river kit plus polish the sear in my XDS9. Much like the original trigger and extremely smooth.

My issue with the post recall trigger was not the pull but the 'gritty' feel, which the polished sear eliminated. A lot of people said the gritty feel would lessen with use, but after 400 - 500 rounds, I turned it over to a trusted gunsmith.

So did you stick with the original sear, then, and just polish it, or did you go with the redesigned sear and have it polished?
