I'm permitted to carry in Ohio (not that it matters anymore). In the near future, I'll need to travel to Massachusetts for a few days and intend to carry on the trip. Since there's no reciprocity in New York or MA, I'm curious about interpretations. Other than the glove box, I won't have a locking compartment available in my ride. So what if I have the firearm partially disassembled. My EDC breaks down and goes back together easily, so I'm thinking put the slide assembly in the glove box (locked?), and keep the chassis (with mag) holstered on my waist.
Also, just to make things interesting; I'm told my ride is the #1 stolen vehicle on both coasts so I'm not planning on leaving a whole gun locked up inside.
