NBC interviews Snowden

golocx4

Got Beretta's?
Some of you have already made up your minds based on media reports that Snowden is a Traitor.
Some of you are okay with the NSA watching over you and yours in the name of safety.
Even Snowden agrees that the dedicated men and women of these intelligence agencies are doing a great job.

If you haven't watched the interview I suggest you do so.

Snowden is not being dishonest. What he says should send shivers down your spine.

If you like Orwellian Tactics you are similar to the Loyalists in the 1700s who were happy with the security of the crown.
If you have no opinion you are just like the colonists that didn't choose sides or play both.
Only one third of the Colonists gave a crap about freedom.

I got the impression that Williams was somewhat embarrassed because the press should have exposed this stuff long ago.

The mainstream media SHOULD be embarrassed, but they are too focused on themselves to actually do investigative journalism. They are too focused on presenting the daily "press releases" from the White House, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. They can't find the time to do real investigative journalism.... that would take too much time away from hair and make-up before their broadcasts.

It wasn't until it was revealed that one of their own, James Rosen, had his communications and those of his family, monitored secretly after the US Government under Eric Holder lied about his criminal activities to get a warrant, if they even bothered to get a warrant. Then, and only then, did they worry about the 1st Amendment.

I personally believe that every level of government has overstepped its Constitutional limits, but the "dumbed down" America believes that the US Constitution enunciates the Rights of the People instead of its true purpose... limiting the powers of the Government.

It's time that Civics be taught again.... starting with teaching the intent of the Constitution!

It seems that the local media is doing a better job...ie: taking a skeptical look at the ability of the Erie County Sheriff's office to capture your private cell phone data.... all under the guise of "public safety".

I'm sure that the State Police (as seen shortly after passage of the SAFE ACT) illegally scoured medical records of pistol permit holders, trying to implement confiscation and revocation of pistol permits.

George Orwell was just thirty years too soon in naming his book 1984.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not one of those tinfoil hat, conspiracy guys, but one only need to think logically that if some hacker, sitting in his basement, can access your computer, turn on your webcam without turning on the indicators (lights or preview pane), then what do you think the government, with unlimited resources (our money), can do.
Just look at the past month or so on the news... stories on Cell capture, license plate readers, small drones, etc, etc.

Finally, the government can justify anything it wants. They call Snowden a Traitor, but our own Attorney General is a Tax Evader/Cheat... Gun Runner(Fast & Furious).
Don't get me started on the Liar In Chief. They fund Al Qaida affiliates in Northern Africa, who then attacked our embassy in Benghazi, but the poor dupe they arrested for "the video" is still in prison. So, is Snowden a coward for not coming home? He's not as stupid as the government makes him out to be.

Is he a Traitor? I'm not sure. Is he a Patriot? I'm not sure of that either. But I do know one thing....the Government certainly doesn't want any more information about them to come out... it may wake a sleeping giant THE PEOPLE.

Members,

I can think of a few dozen men who were labeled traitors, as well as tens of thousands of others who's names we'll never know. IMO, which is subject to extreme scrutiny by those I deem enemies, if you're not on a government watch list and/or labeled a "traitor" or "persons of interest" by those who claim authority over We The People by now... you should be ashamed of yourself.

How many unconstitutional laws have you broken this week? I break the law every single day and I'm damn proud of it.

He's both... "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter". This quote may be an exaggeration of Mr. Snowden but, you can get the jest of what I'm leaning towards.
