How absurd, it could never happen here. Oh, and those who worry that registration could lead to confiscation. How silly, I mean c'mon, this is America. Nobody is EVER going to try to confiscate your guns (Shush, those of you in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, we don't want any facts to confuse us).
I remember being mocked for my concerns about registration leading to gun grabbing. "It could never happen here" was the refrain. Funny, I don't hear that anymore. Now they just say, "it's for the kids", as they stand by with our schools as target rich environments.
