After trying several different styles of CC IWB Holsters, I finally found one that I am absolutely in love with. I carry a XD40 Subcompact with my shirt tucked in. Although several of the other styles / brands functioned well, I found myself very "raw" after a full day's carry. I could only carry for a few hours at a time before I had to get some relief from the "rub". I do a lot of sitting in my job (we are allowed to carry here at work, with CCW permit). I also spend a considerable amount of time on the road when I'm not working, which makes being able to carry while in a prolonged sitting position very important to me. Since purchasing the N82Tactical "Professional" model, I have never been so comfortable while carrying!
A couple of weeks ago, I went on a backpacking trip with my son and a group of boys up into the wilderness areas of Idaho. Although I was not as concerned about carrying there as I would be in the big city, it only made sense to be armed while in bear, lion and wolf country. Not wanting to be too conspicuous around the boys I decided to go ahead and carry concealed with the N82 holster. I was able to backpack in complete comfort and confidence.
Although I have not personally used the Cross-breed Super-Tuck (the other brand I was going to try) I am totally sold on the N82Tactical IWB holster.
Please comment if you have had similar experience with this or a similar style holster. As an NRA pistol instructor, I get asked by a lot of people which holster works best for me. I would love some additional input if you have had similar favorable experiences with this or similar holster.
PS. I don't work for N82Tactical, nor am I looking for freebies. Just want to share my experience.
