My Response to Obama's Response to Gun Free Zone Petition

Got Beretta's?
First of all let me say. Obama speeches are never anything more that What someone or some group deserves, we oughtas and we should be ables and I am taking steps to (without ever saying what the steps are) and the press swoons with adoration and shortness of breath. This is no different.

At the same time, all of us deserve to live in safer communities, which is why we need to take responsible, commonsense steps to reduce gun violence, even while respecting individual freedom. And let’s be clear: President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms. You can see him talk about that in a previous petition response:

We ought to be able to keep weapons of war off the streets. We ought to close the loopholes in the background check system that make it too easy for criminals and other dangerous people to buy guns — an idea that has the support of 90 percent of people in the United States.

That’s why the President and an overwhelming majority of Americans are calling on Congress to pass gun safety legislation that closes loopholes in the background check system and makes gun trafficking a federal crime.

A minority in the Senate is blocking this common-sense legislation to reduce gun violence, but President Obama is already taking action to protect our kids with executive actions. He is taking the steps available to him as President to strengthen the existing background check system, give law enforcement officials more tools to prevent gun violence, end the freeze on gun violence research, make schools safer, and improve access to mental health care.

At the same time, all of us deserve to live in safer communities, which is why we need to take responsible, commonsense steps to reduce gun violence, even while respecting individual freedom. WHAT? Everyone deserves a Theme Park life experience and this is why we need to reduce what?

And let’s be clear: Oh Boy Here we go! Here comes something substantive. President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms. You can see him talk about that in a previous petition response: Wait a minute, I don't give a flying schidt what he believes about the Second Amendment. It freaking is what it is no matter what he freaking thinks about it! We ought to be able to keep weapons of war off the streets. There is one of them pesky "we oughta's" We ought to close the loopholes in the background check system that make it too easy for criminals and other dangerous people to buy guns
Oh wow there is another one! The press corps (Korps) is gonna have to clean them selves with a tissue after this statement. — an idea that has the support of 90 percent of people in the United States. BULLCRAP! It has 90% of a phone survey of 251 people 18 years ago. STFU already about 90% of Americans.

That’s why the President and an overwhelming majority of Americans are calling on Congress to pass gun safety legislation that closes loopholes in the background check system and makes gun trafficking a federal crime. Again with the overwhelming majority of Americans. What is gun Safety Legislation. RSO Training? Sounds like a flowery mamby pamby name for GUN CONTROL!

Now comes the traditional jab at the opposition. The Press is gonna have to have a cigarette after this one.

My head is spinning, where is the answer to the petition.
“Eliminate armed guards for the President, Vice-President, and their families, and establish Gun Free Zones around them” It seems to me that this would solve everything. If they are in a Gun Free Zone then what is there to worry about.

On a side note: How many tax dollars (time) was spent crafting the response? 20 staffer's in a room would cost about 1800 bucks per minute.

You got the same form letter I did with lies in it. I had posted in another thread.

Eh, with these transparent lies (i.e. 90% support of background check), it could have been done by an intern.
