Just bought my 2nd weapon.... a Remington Model 783 bolt-action rifle with scope chambered in 7mm. Found it on sale for $290, plus there's a $40 rebate I still have to send in for. First one was for defense, this one's for fun!

That's the best entry level bolt action with scope on the market today. My brother in law bought one for my nephew and he is as good as his dad with a rifle that costs about 1/3 of the price of his old man's. He missed two deer last fall because he got nervous on the shots. I've seen him at the range this summer. No deer is escaping a clear shot this year.
