yesterday i purchased a brand new M&P 15-22. i must say that i am very happy with it its a great shooter, very accurate and functioned great. only had 2 or 3 failures to eject but that was after several hundred rounds and it was starting to get pretty dirty, could of been the ammos fault too though because it gave us problems in other guns as well. if anyone is in the market for an AR style 22 i would suggest looking into the M&P. gonna start to add some stuff to it soon.

I love 22 rifles I just had some fun today with mine I got it from my grandfather when he passed its a Remington field master 572 pump and it's a great little rifle accurate as hell my pap sure knew how to site in scopes cause I have not touched a setting and I was cracking beer bottle tops at 70 + yards

Thanks Ryan...After reading that you bought one, I started to realize that 22LR rifle is something I don't have yet in my toy collection and since I wanted AR-15 for quite some time, I ordered the M&P 15-22,just like yours...Looking good, cheap ammo a and lots of fun...Can't wait to shoot it...This is my 3rd gun I bought after recommendation from this forum..No wonder I like it here so much!!

Glad I could help you find your next gun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. Shoot straight and be safe.

I agree on the accuracy of the S&W M&P AR-15/22. I've had one for several months, and while I bought a red/green dot sight for it, I ended up leaving on the iron sights. I love this plinker so much, I recently went out and bought the Ruger SR22 pistol. Haven't shot with it yet, but should go out later this week.

Heard nothing but good things about the M&P 15-22. I have one on order and I'm looking forward to doing some plinking as well!

Yep, the M&P 15-22 is fun to shoot. Everybody that sees it and shoots it likes it. I put an inexpensive Primary Arms red dot sight on mine and that is fun, too. That is not a sight I would put on a defensive or duty weapon but it just the thing for a "toy" AR.

Mine will eat just about anything with some failures. Started using CCI TACTICAL & they are flawless. Cost is a bit more than than the cheap stuff. But I think it's worth the extra $ when all the rounds go bang.
