This guy went to a local high school in the Roanoke Valley and graduated from Virginia Tech (remember that school from Cho's massacre? And also the guy who decapitated his girlfriend in a campus restaurant?). I first "met" him when he was no more than 15, bussing tables in his father's restaurant, the Capitol Grill in Roanoke. By all accounts, his dad was a hard-working immigrant who bought a dive, ran it for years, saved up enough money to open a nicer place a block or two away and died of a heart attack six months later. One has to wonder where this kid went wrong. The son of a moderately successful immigrant, college graduate and finally an MD (Psychiatry) with the rank of Major. Someone along the way did quite a job of indoctrinating him.
