You can go to the state department of justice site. We just adopted the castle doctrine. Cow permits are easy to get. You need an 8 hour course on the law, a simple qualification shoot, and file an application with the sheriff in your county of residence. Usually takes about 6 weeks to net the permit.

Yes, the time was cut to 45 days but that is not total processing time. Link Removed. Things like the mental health clearance can take quite a while after the application is submitted especially for new residents.
