Moving to Missouri

Hello... I currently reside in the democratic socialist state of Illinois, Land that Lincoln could have never imagined. We are seriously considering a move to the St. Louis area, and I’m wondering about the ccl licensing process. I’m currently a ccl license holder in Illinois, and was wondering if St. Louis County would recognize my training, took 16 hours of classroom and range qualification at the local community college. I know I have to be a resident, with a Missouri drivers license, and be able to prove residency, but I’m wondering about the process. Thank you for your help in advance.

Here’s a link to Missouri’s gun laws. They are a constitutional carry state but it looks to me like you still need a permit to carry in certain places. Not really sure how concealed carry plays into that.
