Moving to Florida in a few weeks!

Anyone in the Jax/Atlantic Beach area? Looking for a good instructor for my permit class. Already have my TN license but will obviously need to get a FL one when we arrive.

I've looked at the carry laws in FL and they seem to be the same as TN for the most part - other than no open carry in FL. Anything I should look out for?

Sorry - not in that area. But one difference I remember is that "no gun" signs do not have force of law here in FL, but do in TN.

Very interesting - good to know. Nashville has a ton of restaurants that are posted and we choose to avoid them. I have spent a lot of time visiting Jacksonville and have never seen anything posted so I was curious.
