Moving to another state and getting a CCW

Warriors all,
I lived in Charlotte, NC for the last 16 yrs, holding a ccw FOR 15 YRS. I recently moved to Louisiana and hoped my CCW from NC would count for something. Unfortunately I have to start over, but found my military training of your does count for the firing test. I will soon find out the differences after my LA drivers lic. exists for 6 months.

Al least your North Carolina permit is valid in Louisiana until it expires...
