moving from one county to another

Hi i have been a CCW holder for about 8 months, and i am moving from merced county to stanislaus county. I was told that i have to go through the whole process again when i move from one county to another. When i went on the DOJ website it said i would have to notify the issuing agency of my move within 10 days,but my license would be okay for 90 days from date of move,but then it also says that it would be revoked from my date of move,there is also a part that says it can be amended with a form. I was hoping that someone can help me on this. thank you

I don't know where you live but in Oklahoma we want to have our address on our CCW card to match our drivers license and its just a 15 dollar charge to get it changed.

I don't know why you would be asking us for legal advice but if I were you I would go to the issuing agency (sheriffs office) in the new county and ask them how they want to handle it. I suggest you consider moving further-like, out of California!
