moving from Oklahoma to Texas CCW question

Hey guys...I am sorry if this question has been asked before ...I have tried to research this but I guess my Google-fu is not as good as it should be ...

I was a Oklahoma resident and had a concealed carry for oklahoma...I just moved to texas and I am going to establish residency here in a few days...is my Oklahoma carry permit still valid while i wait to take the texas course?

Do I even need to take a Texas course since i just took one a few months ago in Oklahoma? Thanks for the help !!

I moved to TX from NY a few years ago and got an answer from the state for this very question. Your OK permit is good as TX recognizes it. It will be good until you get your TX permit. Yes, you will have to take the TX training classes as it covers TX law.
