Motorcycle carry

I ride a lot and carry always. When I get somewhere that does not allow guns, Is a safe lockbox with cable around frane and in bag a good idea. If it works in cars and trucks then why not a bike?

I'm going to be one to say. Do a search. This topic has been covered and beaten to death.
<edit phone didn't send rest>
That being said. Use a cable lock around the frame and put it in a saddle bag. And for gods sake. Don't be obvious when you put it in there.

Yes, they will work. But remember, locks are just to keep honest people honest and a criminal will get what they want no matter what. Since I live in a state where signs do not have force of law, I just carry anyway. Better yet, don't patronize places that do not allow carry.

The beaten to death part is right on, problem with what I have run into is you can do a search, but more often than not its inconclusive, and if you call the state/municapality where your headed, they will not say for sure, meening they do not know, and if you should get a hold of a sheriff, he most likely will tell you the way he THINKS it should be, and not what the law actualy is

I have one for my bike. Seems to work pretty good. Like some one already said, try not to be obvious about what your doing and no one will know.

Additional thought for securing a pistol when leaving it with a motorcycle, if you have a moment, disassemble the weapon and drop the barrel (or other necessary part) in your pocket. Not only will you be in compliance with the place you are entering, your weapon would be next to useless to anyone who might happen to be able to get into your lockbox.
