More bad news for anti-guns groups

Violent crime drops 6.4% and property crimes drop 3.7% in the first six months of 2011 based on preliminary numbers.

I still find it hard to understand how the anti-gun lobby will try to convince people that the downward trend in crime and the upward trend of gun ownership and carrying over the last decade are not positively connected. I find it hard to argue against the facts, but then I have been accused of having common sense at times.

The anti-gunners could care less about any statistics unless they can somehow convolute them to fit into their own agenda. Also, the stats will often turn into an argument about whether or not the numbers are correct. I'm starting to think maybe statistics will never help our battle to preserve 2nd Amendment rights.

These people are for the most part bed wetting bleeding heart progressive liberals. These facts are only true if they fit their agenda. These people only care about warm and fuzzie, I care more than you, good intentions. To them people are all good until you put a gun in their hands, then they turn into pure evil. They will find a way to twist these facts to fit their agenda. Mark my words. They have the main stream media to help them.
