MO conceal carry turnaround

So I'm going on four weeks now since the sheriff's office took my fingerprints and paperwork. I was told that many people were taking 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to get theirs. Apparently there was a surge in applications or something.

Anyone else have a time frame for their turnaround in MO?

Try calling the Sheriffs office. This happened to me three years ago when I first got my CCW. They misplaced my approval letter and I never got it. I talked to the big man down there and he told me to come down and pick up my permit.
Good Luck

3 weeks for my MO ccw, but that was over a year ago. I'm sure the federal background checks are bogged down.

I would except they pretty much explicitly said not to call since they were so busy and they must issue after 45 days anyway. I may though anyway.

Well, they finally called me today and said it was ready. So it took them a month almost to the day. Course They called me at the end of the day so I have to wait till Monday to get the stuff from the Sheriff and then another day to go to the DMV.

Did paperwork and fingerprints on 2/28 in StL county, my letter was delivered today, the postmark said it was mailed out yesterday, but the date on the approval letter was dated 3/20, so i guess St.Louis County running behind in mailing out approval letters

Make it easy on yourself and get the endorsement on a state ID not on your DL. You will have to carry two cards with you all the time but it's worth it.
Welcome to the CCW world!!

Yes, plus many places require the DL for checks and routine ID, no reason to advertise you CC - might scare them and ask you to leave...
