The police policy of "shoot first, answer questions later" is simply out of control. And this apologist (the U.S. Capitol Police chief)Dine, justified his officers’ deadly response by telling Congress, “These officers are out there every day putting their lives on the line and they have to make split-second decisions, and it’s easy for any one of us to obviously sit here and second guess them". Based on that reasoning they have an open license to kill anyone because they "put their lives on the line every day"...??? And yes, this case shouldn't be second guessed, it should be prosecuted and a bunch of heads should roll (right into prison) and a lot of taxpayer funded pensions should be repatriated. Of course no response from Mr Law n' Order Eric Holder; and, where's Jessie and Al when there's a legitimate grievance?
As long as LE agencies investigate themselves, and LEO's rarely suffer any consequences the egregiousness and frequency of acts such as this is only going to intensify. So... watch out on your U-turns, it could be your last.
