Military Transfer & CHL Address Change

Hopefully this has not already been covered.

I am a TX resident with a TX DL & CHL. I recently relocated to Virginia due to a military transfer. Will I be able to keep my TX CHL if I update my address, as required by TX DPS, with a Virginia address? Is my TX CHL valid since I was transferred to VA with the military or do I need to get a Virginia CHL?

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I have been unable to find any post or law that deals specifically with TX residents/military members transferring to another state.

I think va honors tx but it will be eas
y to get a va permit since you are in military. Go to the county clerk of the court and apply
