Meijer has been doing this for the last 6 or 7 years, and they're doing it again this year. Free hunting licenses statewide for young people 16 or younger.

A Meijer spokesperson said that in order to get the free license, youth must be accompanied to a Meijer location by an adult, and should get a coupon from the store's weekly ad or mPerks digital coupon out and bring the free junior hunting license coupon to the store’s sporting goods department.

The coupon is valid for any junior hunting license or mentored youth hunting license and represents savings up to $15 depending on what license hunters get.
