Chalk up another entry in the recent string of racially motivated assaults. Today’s story comes from Norfolk, Virginia, where a white couple were beaten savagely by a group of (according to reports) between 30 and 100 black youths. Apparently, the beating was so brutal that the couple could only manage to scream out the intersection at which they were located

Well not for nothing but why would you get out of your car to confront 30 to 100 young people ? I grew up in Norfolk and Chesapeake VA Everyone knows that Church and Brambleton Ave are the worst place to be at night.Sometimes you just need to just stay in your car.

Here is an idea... How about looking beyond the fact that this was a black on white hate crime that has once again been buried by the left wing media. To all of you progressive left wingers who are white, and/or to those of you who vote for Obama only to prove you are not racist, I say this; "If they were actually to get total control, THAT is what YOU should expect".

It's perfect example right there. It's quite obvious none will be arrested, let alone prosecuted. Just think how bad it could get if "Hope and Change" under the guise of "Progress" were to really take hold. This is the very point I make in face to face conversations with those of the opposition. They will not care who you voted for. You are white.

The real issue is the fact that the story was buried, who buried it, why was it buried, did they receive out side government influence to bury it (tad amount to censorship even though some might call it censorship for the common good and other so called intellectuals would buy that as reasonable)
Freedom of the press is in the First Amendment because the "Press" is supposed to be unfettered in keeping a watch on government, and reporting on and digging up government corruption, not to be the governments lap dog. Once they stop being a watch dog they lose all credibility with me.

Im still wondering why 911 was #1 was busy and #2 it has a recording. Correct me if I'm wrong here but when you call 911 from a cell phone it goes to the state police and from there you give your emergency and location and the send the towns/city emergency responders to the scene.

That is an easy answer. Here in NY every time a school budget is under threat by the voters, the first thing the school board says they have to cut is the bus routes, sports programs and music class. They would never think of cutting "Great Musicals of the 50's" classes.
So when the city is asked to zero or even cut it's budget, what do you think is the first thing to be cut? What ever will have the greatest effect on the undeserving tax paying public.

Violence caused by anybody, of any color or creed, needs to be addressed directly by the police. And if the emergency responders can't make it in less time then a pizza delivery, the legally armed citizen has to defend themselves. Maybe the fellow driving didn't have to get out and say something to the rock tosser, maybe he could have driven off, but there is still no excuse for what followed. I tried not to rant, but............

I could not agree with you more....
Seeing as how it's been 20 years since the L.A. Riots and the Zimmerman case is still 'pending',
I would say that it's best to be prepared just in case.

The Virginian-Pilot has a tie to President Obama, as its publisher since 2008, Maurice Jones, was nominated by Obama and recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be deputy secretary of HUD, the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Charlie I was able to open the link with no problems at all and copied the url instead and sent it to some friends to WV. They have no problems opening it but at the same time I sent it to my neighbour across the road and she got the virus warning and told me. I argued with her almost the whole morning (she is a little bit on the short end of the fuse today because of the noise of the construction of our street...so I forgive her...:lol because she is the only one that got the virus warning. So go figure...
