McCain - Palin, your true feelings

Our Next Vice President - Palin reprimands her own Supporters

Truth is

most people on gun forums are I've visited are 1 issue voters, upset about Obama stance on firearms so they docare about other issues.

I think Palin is pretty/cute, I would bone, but don't qualify as Vice Presidential material
just listen to her latest interview as one example on CBS with Katie Curtin (sp)

Thats why all week McCain staff was protecting her from the press when she met those other countries representatives.

Shes not qualified from what I've seen over the past 4 weeks.

McCain, I believe he's too old, he moves, respond and reacts very slowly, if you watch all his press conferences and campaigns he's reading from a teleprompter also, and he can barely say 3 words before looking back at the teleprompter again.

I believe if Obama was pro-2A, many more people on firearms rights forum would vote for him

I just think Obama/Biden is way more qualified than McCain/Palin. I'm disappointed in the Repub party this election.

Your thoughts.

Obama is not pro life either. I would not vote for him under any circumstance unless he was running against Putin and then I would have to think hard about that.

I can not come up with anything I can agree upon with No-Bama.

McCain will do whats right for us common people. Palin is common people. It's gonna take a lot to get government to care about the people and not themselves. This is our best chance in a long time.

So what she does not have a fancy law degree and been to the fancy schools. We need someone with good small town values to look out for us and get government out of our lives.

There is a lot more than just one issue with Hussein. I don't believe in the Democrat platform and I'm not a Socialist so that leaves me with McCain.

Edit: Also Hussein is too young to be President.

What part of he is a lawyer dont you understand. He would sue his mother to get all black if he could.:crazy_pilot:

Question-What is the difference between a lawyer and a snake?
Answer- There are somethings a snake want do.

If Obama is too young, then Kennedy was too young. Seriously, I won't vote for any of them. You can't make me! I will crawl under a mushroom and be fed... well, you know, B4 I vote for any of them! I'm writing in my candidate! Is Pat Paulson still in the running? What about Alfred E. Newman?

I like Alfred E. Newman. He is old enough. He has been around sense I was a kid.

Just to clarify, my statement "Also Hussein is too young to be President" it was a facetious statement to rebut LeavingMass's statement that McCain was too old. All I can say is remember Ronald Regan!

You appear to be looking for an older VP, and a younger President, both of which can give a speech without teleprompters, and has complete memory recall. Let me know when you find 'em. Having served in our military, the second issue Im voting on is who makes the better Commander in Chief.........

Should the CIC refuse to place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem?
Should the CIC advocate changing the National Anthem to "I'd like to teach the world to sing" ?
Should the CIC remove the US Flag from his aircraft and replace it with his campaign seal ?

Our home is paid off, our vehicles are paid off, my income is under 40K, and we're a hell of a lot more responsible than osama thinks we are. I don't want/need ANY of his socialist blather.

osama just wants to be king, not President, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna vote to install a monarch. He wants to talk to Iran so bad let him go there and do the camels.

I'm disappointed in things too, but that's not gonna make me vote for a community organizer over a Governor for President.

If I had any respect for the man at all, I'd have spelled his name right.

....and those are my thoughts........

I would truely rather see McCain in the white house than Obama.. I think that Obama would do so much more bad than good to this country.

She does seem remarkably inexperienced and like she really hasn't thought through her positions very well. More image than substance, definitely. Republicans will say, "But Obama is the same way!" Well, that doesn't justify our acting the same way.

The President doesn't have to move like a cheetah chasing dinner. I'd rather he carefully consider his answers than just blurt out something (which he occasionally does anyway). GWB often has a quick response, but he just screws things up.

Have you ever been in front of multiple cameras with intense studio lights and a disembodied voice asking you questions? The situation automatically removes 20 IQ points. Some people get better at this, and some don't. The rest of us have the luxury of sitting back and collecting our thoughts before stating our positions on defined issues, but a presidential candidate can't; commentators will pick apart any slight hesitation or make nuanced ideas sound like the candidate is splitting hairs. They have to be able to spew their answer out when prompted, and often that means looking at the teleprompter to avoid getting tangled up in their own words.

Also, keep in mind that they're doing this while running for President - which means they may quite possibly be running on 5 hours (or less) of sleep, have a cold, and not exactly be in top form.

I am not a one issue voter or a strict party line voter. I discuss 2A issues here simply because of the type of site it is. While the McCain/ Palin ticket may not be the absolute perfect ticket, the Obama/ Biden ticket falls shorter in its political views. I also don't trust a candidate that flip-flops in their views as Obama does with gun rights. As for Palin, she may not be a great public speaker but neither is Bush. When it comes to experience, as governor of Alaska, I believe she has more experience with the military than Obama. She also wants to open up drilling as a short term cure for the oil crunch and to get us off dependence on Arab oil. She is pro-life and supports strong education. Many fear that McCain will just be another 4 years of Bush policy. I don't really believe this. I think he's smart enough to know that he won't make a second term if he continues that path. One last thing, I would rather have the least experienced in the training position than the lead position. Want to know Palin's views and how she voted as Governor? Check out the following:

And some would say that Joe Paterno is to old to coach, maybe but still doing it and is doing a heck of a great job. some say Brett Farve should have stayed in retirement but is still better than most quarterbacks in NFL. Palin to young, McCain to old I don't think so. I'm not voting for Biden or Palin I'm voting for the President's job first VP second, Joe Bidens record well speaks for it self. I do not always vote for a certain party just who I think will do the best job, and like some not always right but at least I vote.

Joe Bidens record well speaks for it self.

That is exactly what I have said many times. Experience means little if the experience is one of being consistently wrong on everything.

If millions of blacks are voting for him because he is black, then I will vote against him because he is not All white.Just trying to balance the racism on the other side.A black hitler at that.:mamba:

I agree that at this point in time, Palin is not president material, but possibly will be after two terms as vice president. However, I don't think Obama/Biden is any more qualified, either. On issues that are dear to me (ie., gun rights, abortion, taxes, national defense, and honesty) there really are no good choices among the two major parties.

Leaving Mass, Posts like yours are the reason this forum is so lame most of the time. Your comments are rude and uninformed. Also, try spell check.

One issue voter1. abortion 2. guns 3. small gov 4. drill drill drill 5. kick ass and take names 6. close or boarders. Yes we are1 issue people. We are not socialist or communist.I don't believe giving the money to the guys that screwed it up can fix it.:agree:
