What is the statistic for the distance between victim of an armed robbery?

Depends on the robbery since no two incidents are exactly alike. It could be anything from being held at gun point from several feet away to having a gun or knife against your ribs and being able to count the attacker's nose hairs as you realize he desperately needs a tic tac.

Perhaps it would be more advantageous for you to elaborate on your question so folks could ascertain what your concern is?

I am considering using a 410 derringer verses subcompact for CCW. I carry cash to the bank in deposits daily. The 410/45 derringer is easier to conceal carry using a pocket holster

The only drawback I can see with the derringer is there are only two shots available...

I'd rather have 6 or 7 rounds of .380 than only two rounds of anything. Then again, if I really feared that I'd be the victim of an armed robbery attempt, I wouldn't limit myself only to a weapon that fits in my pocket, or is easier to conceal. Go big(ger) or...umm...don't go home.
