Okay lawyers, Where in the NY SAFE Act is Law Enforcement exempt from the Background check on gun transfers. You turn in a gun on a buyback you are surrendering or transferring ownership. You can not do this unless the person you are transferring to passes a NIC check.
BTW, Got an old non working bb gun or air rifle, turn it in and let the broke city of Buffalo give you $100 that they got from a broke Federal Government to fund this voluntary confiscation scheme.
Can we bring charges under NY Safe against Mayor Against Illegal Guns Byron Brown or the Buffalo cops that actually take a "firearm"? I have looked at the law and can not find an exception for LE. Guns are not contraband,,,,,,,yet!
