Now this is England, anything is possible, evident by the weak 3 year sentence. I guess they did not want to lock him up too long, because if the sentence was longer he might be too old and weak to wield a chain saw when he gets out. There is not a problem with concealed carry chainsaws, but this story will hurt the open carry movement. And now the British will pass a law requiring that the chain not be installed on the saw until you are inside the forest, and, you will have to store the chain in a separate location from the locked up saw on your property. This will be like pulling teeth for the loggers.

Obviously we need to ban chainsaws in pubs, start doing background checks and 10 day waiting periods, 1 chainsaw a month law, and registration program for chainsaws
