Maybe it's time to ban chainsaws next??

Very dangerous piece of equipment. How could this have been aloud in the hands of a mad man. We must have back ground checks and training classes. We must also issue permits. Wait, the chainsaw did it. Your right ban the chainsaw.

Now this is England, anything is possible, evident by the weak 3 year sentence. I guess they did not want to lock him up too long, because if the sentence was longer he might be too old and weak to wield a chain saw when he gets out. That is one of the reasons England does not want its` citizens armed. The pub patrons might have passed the correct judgement on Dean Dinnen.

pretty sure the hippies in my state of California will see this and follow suit. cant stand it when mechanical things have minds of their own.

There is not a problem with concealed carry chainsaws, but this story will hurt the open carry movement. And now the British will pass a law requiring that the chain not be installed on the saw until you are inside the forest, and, you will have to store the chain in a separate location from the locked up saw on your property. This will be like pulling teeth for the loggers.

Cant help but notice the idiots in that pub who did not appear to take him seriously. It also appears that the bad guy was just trying to scare people, some potential victims were real close to him...

Obviously we need to ban chainsaws in pubs, start doing background checks and 10 day waiting periods, 1 chainsaw a month law, and registration program for chainsaws

No carrying into an establishment that bases its sales of 51% or greater on alcohol in ky. You can carry into a restaurant but cross that imaginary line into the bar and your illegal.

If you follow the news in England, you will soon realize that it will soon be the first english speaking country to go belly-up and/or become a bastion of moslem deity--they are light years ahead of us to third worldism. Poor Churchill--spinning in his grave and choking on his cigar. Anything that comes out of England these days is just not worth the read anymore.

3 years for damn near cutting someones arm off with a chainsaw is a joke. In MN you can carry in a bar all day every day, just no drinking. I'm always DD :P

Seems like he bit off more than he could chew, after the initial shock he's getting swarmed by folks tossing stools and (can you believe it) beer kegs at him. At the end of the vid I believe he gets what they'd call a good drummin over there.

Nothing new....Marcell took a bar apart many years ago in Mississippi. Jerry Clower told of his exploits. Punch it up and listen about the event--lol.
