Mass to ri then back

I have a mass ltc but i go to prov alot to travel can i travel my piece in trunk unloaded in safe on container then be able to travel back to mass??

Technically you cannot. If you were transporting through the state you could, but if you are stopping in RI you cannot.

Same as Maryland. I can go thru Maryland with gun locked in trunk, but I cannot stop or go to MD with that as my destination. When I travel I always make sure I have enough gas to completely go through the state of Maryland without stopping. I never stop and hence never spend a dime in that state, unless it's at the Bay Bridge toll. I seldom if ever visit anyone there, even though I was born there and have relatives there still.
