Maryland house bill 62 introduced

Maryland Delegate Smigiel has introduced HB 62 Which would make it legal for Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania Concealed Carry Permit holders to carry in Maryland.

Any news of including reciprocity is better than none, but any thoughts on why this action is limited to only these four states? I'm in North Carolina with an NC CCW, and on occasion kayak (and kayak camp) on the Potomac, and not being able to use both sides of the river is at best aggravating, especially given the governments ownership of so much real estate, and the possibility of needing to take a break on Maryland soil.

In this case, hope is a Md. resident writing his reps, asking to support this bill.

So far I have contacted quite a few people in MD. in addition to Del. Haddaway-Riccio trying to get some support for this bill. I don't see anyone else doing anything. But, that is tipicle for the few to do the work and the rest to sit on their butts and jaw about what someone else should be do.
