Just got an LC9 and have never had the double action feel before. I'm used to a 1911. Tips needed about adapting. My first group was terrible.

Practice, practice, practice! Also, you can buy a 3.5 lb trigger bar that that takes 3/8" out of the long pull. It works great.

ditto and definately replace the trigger bar. Had to carry a weapon DA only, for several weeks, not by choice, went to the armourer told him the problem and he changed the trigger bar and some other things and I improved my groups 60% by this I mean I was hitting the paper target not the black with all my shots. Within a week I was shooting 3 " groups at 50 meters. I hated that weapon to my knowledge it was canned. thank god!

also had LC9

I had an LC9 until 6 months ago. You cant just install trigger bar, you have to mod the hammer as well. It cost about 60 but they were out of the parts. I polished everything, removed the mag safety and cleaned up the firing pin block and shortened the safety spring. I could deal with the pull weight but the trigger released much too late. Otherwise it was an excellent gun. Never jammed and just the right size for ccw. I traded it for sw3913

I'm pretty sure there is a trigger bar that is made that does not require hammer mods. I dont know the brand. I wanted to get an LC9 but passed on it because of the trigger and the magazine safety. I have a buddy who got one and added the trigger bar and let me try it. Now I'm wishing I would have picked one up when they were More readily available. I will ask him the brand.

I didnt try the mod because they had it on back order but the trigger is the only thing wrong with the gun. the mag safety is easy to remove. I think the gun would be very accurate with a better trigger. Galloway precision has a bunch of good stuff and how-tos
