Its official: The zombie apocalypse has started. I would say "lock and load" but most of my guns are already loaded so I am ready to go!

Yes, I'm already locked and loaded also. With my double-and-single action 45ACP, I keep the hammer down in condition #2 however. Faster that way. You don't need to futz with a safety. You just pull the trigger.

I agree, Firefighterchen. God doesn't force Himself on us. We have free will. He must remain heart broken by such evil choices made. Meanwhile, I hope to be able to obtain a gun soon for self defense. My spouse left our marriage, taking all money and guns. It takes awhile to rebuild life, so buying a gun has had to be a lower priority. I have a young son, and I hope to have a gun to protect us before long, as there are a lot of freaks out there!

I read that part also...It's very clear that some people are truly dangerous enough to kill you with just their bare hands.

Get over the mentality that an unarmed man is not dangerous, although my youngest son carries, he has been taking karate since 6 years old and mixed martial arts since 18 he could kill you with his hands or feet no other weapon. At 66 I carry and I practice a lot and being 66 I can and will defend myself period.
 
If it was a 9mm, he just had the wrong ammo. A nine will kill you dead just as fast as any other round. It's all about shot placement, not caliber.
