So I stumbled on to these online, and am wanting to get some other opinions before buying. Have any of you guys tried them at all or just have strong thoughts about them? Thanks!

can't say i've ever seen those, but if i had a 9mm and saw those, i'd stay clear of them. any (typically) male focused product that needs to put a woman on its cover to get your attention is either compensating for a weakness, or trying to get you to pay more for a cheaper equivalent.

Don`t waste your money, total garbage. They are made from powdered metal and when they hit something solid they discintegrade into a powder.

Frangible bullets are good for use on ranges as it almost eliminates the chance of ricochet damage to the range and shooters. It should never be used as carry ammunition.

It is my understanding that these were developed for the FBI, CIA, etc, to provide maximum tissue damage at lower penetration levels. You can Google these and get more info from the internet.

In the video the core kept travelling through the gel while about a quarter of the round turned to shrapnel and did look like it would do a lot of tissue damage.

Let me know what that does when it his a leather jacket, belt buckle, zipper, button, or other item someone might have in a shirt pocket. (Like a new pack of cigarettes. ) I am not saying it wouldn't go through. I am saying the pieces probably will be stopped before any serious damage is done.
No way for a SD ammo. Use solid jacketed HPs. There are a number of very good brands.

Save your money and get quality proven ammunition for SD. Stick to critical defense, critical duty, Winchester Rangers, Remington golden sabers, PDX1 bonded ammo etc...
