Looking for a CCW for when riding my motorcycle.

Been lurking for a while and now I have a question worth asking.

I'm looking for a conceal carry pistol for when I'm riding my motorcycle. But I'm looking for something specific.

9mm
Single/Double Action
as compact as possible
Around 500 bucks.

I like the Springfield XD Sub Compact.
I also like the Glock 26.
But what about the Beretta PX4 Storm sub compact? Or any others I'm overlooking?

I CCW all of my guns when riding my bike, so to me, it would depend on what you want to carry all the time. When I just have a cut-off shirt and nylon shorts on (sounds safe doesn't it) I carry my cheap Kel-tec p-11 9mm that I really like when I don't want to carry a larger pistol.

I don't like the PX4 sub compact at all. It just doesn't shoot like I thought it would. I carry my glock 19 when I am on my motorcycle, in an owb with retention snap. The muzzle sticks out below the bottom of my jacket slightly.

My wife has a new pistol called a SCCY. It is very compact eyt comfortable to shoot. It is 9 mm and has 2 10 round mags. I paid $250. new in the box.

Maybe everyone else has already considered this but it's worth noting that we riders have one of the best excuses of anyone to make sure that both hands are as well practiced (at presenting, fire control and re-holstering). Most shooters I know (admittedly a small sampling) have never had a need to practice or improve their timing on putting it away -- but on the off chance that one hand is busy with a clutch, throttle, or caliper (I'm talking sitting still, of course)... Having said that, I'm hoping that any instance that might require my firearm will be when I am fully OFF my bike (I'm riding a bike that I wouldn't mind using for cover if necessary).

I carry Ruger LC9 or my KELTEC .32 auto. I don't have bags on my Dyna so I like it light and small. I figure my sidearms will give me enough time to get away on my hog!

I would get the glock 26 as I have one and is the perfect size for what you want to do I actually wear it at about the 4:30 to 5:00 position itw at the gym and it does not move surfing workout and no one can tell I am carrying the glock 27 is also the same exact size only in s .40 of you are looking for a little more punch

All great guns here. Sr40c for me. strong side (southpaw) owb. Still too cold up here for consistant riding weather:confused:

I have carry a number of different CCWs on the Harley...Taurus 650, S&W M60, S&W M19, Taurus 709 Slim...but now I carry a Ruger .357 mag. It is the light and compact.
