Anybody see this? I love the show but the sound guy needs a bit of a education. When Longmire and his deputy are out on the res at the parents house there hear a shotgun being pumped. They turn to see the father of the missing boy holding a side by side shotgun OPEN! I thought is was quite funny.

Really getting bothered by these gun miscues in movies and on tv. heres on , the movie " Salt" Angelina smacks a mag into what looks like beretta 92 & without racking the slide, proceeds to fire it empty at the first person she sees.

I already noted several pistol handling mistakes by Sheriff L, sometime in the last week or so.... The last one I saw... he fires his .45 IN THE AIR (huge no-no) to break up a fight...When the camera swings his way, he's standing holding the pistol up over his head pointed at the sky... The hammer is DOWN... The apparent round fired, for some reason, never recycled the pistol.. Yeah...right!

That one is already off my list of new shows with any credibility.

Man, if that is what bothers you in life, you got it pretty good. Thank your god for what u have been blessed with.

Watched the Longmire show once and once only. There is no need for a cop to walk around resting his hand on his sidearm everywhere he goes and whenever he is talking with someone. I wonder what a cop would do if I were to rest MY hand on my sidearm while I was talking to him/her.

Watch it every Sunday night. Like the show and have noticed the little snafu's along the way. They do not bother me in the least. What bothers me is the "plight of the poor native Americans" propaganda. Though not as in your face as similar examples on the alphabet nets, the desire to turn the channel is becoming more difficult to avoid.

People need to understand that it's television. It's not about reality. It's about projecting an ideology and making money. How "capitalistic" of them. :sarcastic:

Yep, it's pretty much in every episode, especially the last one about the kidnapped kids. Someone takes your kid and you do nothing???? Give me a break.

Anyone know or care to speculate what was in the Denver PD letter?

I haven't viewed a TV show that I liked more in the past few years, except when Tom Sellick is on Blue Bloods or one of his Jessie Stone TV movies. They say Longmire is a take off of the jessie stone movies only it's out west. No matter what it's a really good show, even though they have a few goof up's.
