Lone Wolf Barrel

I have a Glock 23 and 27 that I use as a CCW. I am interested in getting a Lone Wolf conversion barrel for them in either .357 sig or 9mm. I wanted to know what you guys think about swapping out the barrels for CCW. Thanks for the info/advice.

You don't say why you want to switch out the barrel, that may affect the decision.

I was wondering the same thing, not necessarily about conversion barrels but about Lone Wolf barrels in general, and their threaded barrels in particular.

Ok, I reread the post and I surmise he wants to use it for carry in a different caliber (although I don't see the point - I might go 9mm for less expensive plinking). I have a 6" LW barrel (not threaded) for my G20 that I use for hunting medium size game. No complaints for what I consider an average priced barrel.

I have a Lone Wolf threaded barrel that I installed on my G27. I like it. Haven't had a feed issue and accuracy was not compromised. With the threaded barrel, the barrel does extend past the slide about 1/2" though.

The reason would be the threaded barrel for me lol. For the OP I imagine it's to save $ on ammo (you'd have to shoot at least 30 boxes of 9mm vs. 40 to break even).

I would go with the 9, 357 sig ain't cheap. At least not around me here in ky
