LA CHL instructors must be registered with LA State Police. Here is the the LA State Police CHP unit webpage which has a link to the LA SP registered instructor list. LA CHP instruction must take place within the State of Louisiana as it does in several other States with a training requirement and the instructor is certified or registered with the issuing authority.

NRA certified in pistol, rifle and shotgun, firearms safety, and personel protection both inside and outside the home. Lifetime NRA member and life member of Louisiana Shooters Association. One day class on Saturdays, $125/ea. includes lunch, refreshments and all paperwork needed for your packet to the State Police. The Shooters' Club offers Concealed Carry Training every Saturday. Open registration starts at 10:30am. The one day class is around 9 hours long. Baton Rouge Area Concealed Carry Instructor

Gordon Hutchinson teaching LA state-certified concealed carry classes monthly at the Baker Range in Baker, La. and the Bass Pro Shop in Denham Springs, LA.

Concealed Carry Instructor: Louisiana

Classes held weekly in Northeast Louisiana by certified Police Instructor. Teach all levels from novice to advanced. Class certifies holder to apply for concealed carry permit with Louisiana State Police with multi-state reprocity.

Class taught by veteran Police Lieutenant with 29 years training experience.

Class cost is $100. Your weapon of choice or rent one of mine. Classes held on weekends and during week upon request. Multiple range options including indoor range.

The Southwest Gun Club of McComb, Mississippi conducts Personal Protection in the Home Classes. Our LSP registered instructor is Douglas Bowser. We charge $50 for the class and that includes the use of a firearm and ammunition if the pupil does not have them.
