Hello, my name is Jeff Morelock. I am an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and I would love to be able to teach you how to shoot or help you meet the training requirements you need to get your Florida concealed weapons permit.
I have been a Police Officer, SWAT Team Leader, or Armed Executive Protection Specialist for most of my professional career.
My assignments have included working undercover in a high school as a student, hunting war criminals as the team leader of a United Nations International Police SWAT team in war-torn Kosovo.
While serving as a local police officer here in Florida I became a well respected police field training officer, responsible for training new police officers fresh out of the police academy. I enjoyed teaching new police officers how to survive on the streets, and become the best police officers possibly could.
My police street patrol, undercover experience, and my experience as a trainer of police officers makes me a natural choice for your Florida concealed weapons permit training instructor, or your advanced handgun self-defense training training.
I had the opportunity to attend lots of training that I will pass on to you. Even though I am lucky enough to be considered highly skilled, I am down to earth, patient, and supportive.
The nature of work has always required me to be armed, so I know what you need to know to be a safe and confident armed citizen. As a the owner of a licensed executive protection agency here in Florida, I am still required to work armed because I personally leads every protection detail my company performs.
Much of my armed assignments were as an undercover detective in a multi-agency narcotics task force. This type of assignment meant carrying a concealed weapon during drug deals where my life was in extreme danger. Keeping my gun hidden was essential to keeping my "cover" intact. I am not telling you this to impress you, I just want you to know that I know what works and what doesn't because "I practice what I teach."
As the leader of the international SWAT team pictured to the right, my skills with firearms were crucial to my safety, my team's safety, and the safety of innocent people who lived in the areas where my team operated.
I still depend on the skills I will teach. I am the owner of Tampa Bay's Elite Executive Protection and Armed Bodyguard Agency. Staying current on the latest concealed carry techniques and laws is a matter of life and death me and the clients I protect.
