Dear Mr. Maloney,
It disturbs me greatly that your publication, The Indiana Herald-Times, chose to publish information on private citizens with gun permits. This is precisely why I oppose oppressive registration for private carry of a concealed weapon.
As a former student of I.U., and resident of Indiana, I am appalled at the disregard for privacy you’ve shown. Just because information is publically obtainable does not mean it should be publically disseminated.
Your agenda of disarming American citizens is clear, but ill advised. I only hope that should you or your family ever become the victim of a violent, life threatening attack, one of those law abiding citizen you so distain is carrying a concealed firearm and will treat your safety with much more respect than you have treated theirs.
