Legal to Carry?

I bought a Mossberg Maverick 20 ga. shotgun with pistol grip. It's overall length is under the state or federal limit to qualify for a long gun purchase. I had to register, er, get a safety inspection because I had the Pistol Sales Record slip.

I am a CPL holder in Michigan. From a legal perspective, could I carry this firearm concealed (virtually impossible of course)?

Probably not, theyll look at it and declare its not a pistol, although its classified as a short rifle in "laymans terms" Either way, it is a good question. Id probably keep it in a truck under the seat, or what ever. You do have the right as a CPL holder. =] Id ask MSP about it though.
