I'm thinking about joining one of these.
CCW Safe defends those who carry concealed against criminal, civil and administrative actions. - Part 1
CHLPP is a legal services membership organization for concealed handgun licence/permit holders

Anyone members of these? Or have know of a legal defense group that you would recommend?

Funny, my wife sent me a CCW safe ad today and I was going to post something similar. Hope someone can share some info.

I have been looking into this for a week and cannot seem to find a conclusive reason for choosing. I think I need to do something, but what?

It is insurance for the what if's in life. Many new programs being developed with the influx of new concealed carriers. Careful what you choose and no I do not have a particular program in mind.

Make sure you use a healthy dose of due diligence. It is an insurance company no matter how they describe it. Insurance companies have big collection departments for their premiums due and small departments for services rendered. With CC they have a million reasons to find that they are not liable to back you up or at least that will be their first take on your claim. BEWARE. Not saying it is a bad idea but keep it in mind and find out a heck of a lot more than just a "hint".
